Boston. It's Beantown, baby! We've got great music, great sports teams, great people and of course, a great city!
One of the great attributes of a city like Boston are all the people who live in it and the pride they have for being from here. Even those that have only lived here for a short while find it to be one of the best places they've ever lived. That pride carries over to industry, big and small alike. If you've been to Boston and visited any of the shop, restaurants or pubs alone you know that a welcome and friendly atmosphere awaits you each and every time. Now just combine that with larger businesses and commerce in the Boston area and you get the idea.
One of the areas which we excel in is the local locksmith industry. There is a great locksmith association in Massachusetts with guidelines, rules and a general desire to be the best for the best, the people of Massachusetts and Boston! If you ask any locksmith here they will speak with great pride about their industry and their brothers and sister that are in the association.
James Matheson had a bad experience with what he thought was a locksmith after he hired who he assumed was a locksmith to install locks he had purchased for the guest house he remodeled in the backyard of his home. The locksmith association went out of their way to explain to him that the person he believed was a locksmith was actually a journeyman-type repair person without the proper skills and know-how to do most of the common and typical jobs a locksmith sees in a day.
"I remember going on the website for the Massachusetts Locksmith Association because I was mad. I wanted to find someone that could do something and there was a line in their mission statement that said something to the effect of upholding ethics and standard and conduct of a locksmith and all that stuff" said Mr. Matheson.
Reading that inspired him to contact the association and from the minute he began his inquiry he received attention that he did not expect."They helped me. They totally calmed me down, too. As much as I was upset with the work this fake guy did I was also relieved when they told me what I kind of already knew."
After that unsavory experience, Mr. Matheson contacted another Boston locksmith to come out and assess the locks that were worked on and see what kind of damage was done or needed replacement. The locksmith was made aware of his unfortunate incident and made sure to do the work in a timely fashion to save Mr. Matheson any unnecessary cost and was able to salvage all of the locks. When asked how he feels after everything was resolved Mr. Matheson replied, "I love this city!"
As with any business it is up to not only the business owner or workers to give a merely days work to a customer here, it is also a responsibility to show loyalty to every Boston and Massachusetts resident.
