Moving to a new city can be quite a daunting task. Not only is there the packing and moving out of your previous home, but also saying goodbye to your friends, family and all of the comforts and normalcy a person has become accustomed to.

When Dan Adams received the news that he had been chosen for a promotion at work he was ecstatic and overjoyed not just for the promotion but the value the company placed in him as well as their belief in him as a senior programming analyst. The position required that Dan move to the secondary headquarters of the company here in Salt Lake City to head up a new team being developed in the area, and if successful more investment would be made into this region that would put him on the path to bigger and better things at his job.

"I never had a problem with the move. My career is very important to me and this is an opportunity I couldn't pass up, so it was a no brainer. I had heard a bit about Salt Lake and some of my friends said that it was sort of a sleepy town, but very nice", said Dan.

The company flew Dan over to the Salt Lake City residential location and gave him some time to survey the city and look for a new place to live. Not needing much in terms of space, as a single guy Dan found a nice two bedroom, two bath, spilt level town home close to work and the downtown area.

While shopping late at night for cleaning supplies Dan decided to go out and try a little of the nightlife in the city. Upon arriving home Dan, inserting the key into the lock, dropped some of his packages and broke the key. Not knowing what to do he became flustered and began to panic a bit. With the extra set of keys and all of the lease information with contact numbers inside of the town home there was no way for Dan to contact the owner, Debra Jenkans, to inquire if she had a spare key and to alert her to his situation. Since this was rather late he didn't want to wake any neighbors, especially since he was a new resident in the community.

He had his laptop with him and when his cooler head prevailed he realized with the wi-fi connection in the home turned on he could access the internet, hope to find a locksmith that is available at late night hours and call one to come and open the door.

And that's just what he was able to do.

"He's a very smart young man and I was just happy that he called a locksmith instead of getting flustered and breaking a window or damaging the door to get in", said Miss. Jenkans.

"I was relieved", Dan replied. "The locksmith arrived in no time at all, was friendly and fixed the problem really quickly. He was even able to make me a new key to replace the one I broke!"
